For those up voting - take a look at the user posting. They have just spammed over 1,000 links from this account in less than 24hrs.
Have to agree with the poster. Dude has 40 threads (mainly twitter) and 17 comments.
He hasn't posted 1000 links, or anything close to that.
Does Karma not count? Please educate me if I'm being overly suspicious of what I interpreted to be spamming.
Karma is the number of points earned for posts and comments. In this example, it shows that the posts were quite appreciated. Until you came with your spam accusation.
Again, forgive me for being skeptical of such high traction on a brand new account, especially since this community is still pretty small. I have been watching it grow for a few months, and noticed a flurry of activity.
Fair enough, the fediverse has much more potential to survive if we all help make it good.
It's OK. Errors happen. Thank you for your efforts to safeguard the flurry π
Those numbers under Karma are how many up votes they've received on their posts and comments, respectively, not how many posts they've made.
Not on your instance, but I assume that's the posters "reputation". It's the sum score of likes/dislikes their threads/comments received from viewers. The user has no control over it.
