Not quite on the level of "can't live without", but a coffee machine that mills roasted beans really tastes better than normal powder coffee. I guess the full beans retain the taste longer in the bag :-/
Having a timer in your coffee machine, so that you can prepare everything in the evening and have fresh coffee early in the morning is quite neat as well. Also works as a life hack for those having trouble with their alarm clock being snoozed too many times, as you really don't want your coffee to be cold ;)
