Admins and mods will likely be more vigilant about deleted posts and comments at least until things settle, so it might be better to abandon now, then delete later.

That is what I was thinking earlier today when I edited 13 years worth of comments and deleted all of my posts. I figure they will make it impossible unless you are protected by GDPR or something similar.

I recommend waiting to delete anyway, because you won't be able to delete any comments/posts on subs that are private. Hopefully deletion scripts will still work after the API change 😬
