Many of these witness' testimonies have been disproved by their own families. They're closer to qanon "rebels" than victims of state violence. They lied because they are separatists and this is one way of garnering support for their cause.

Both the US senate (in a shocking move) and Italian researchers said there was no sufficient evidence of genocide. A letter signed by more than 40 Muslim countries (some of whom visited the facilities) in support of China was presented to the UN, commending them for their anti terrorism effort.

If anything it's disgusting that these "witnesses" would lie about having gone thorough such things.
