From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

I went through MANY steps by following one particular article. Others commenting on that article said they had problems with the 2 lines regarding security so I left those out and almost everything went well (I had to go back to add the nonfree contrib, though).

I hope to add Bulleseye to a Pi 4 and also format my old PC to add a fresh Bullseye. It changed some of my icons and of course the boot (wrong name?) page is far prettier (still a bit tacky, though), but that is all I noticed. Oh, my WiFi works better...and that warms my heart.
