I know Kbin will grow in time but I miss how huge Reddit was.

Yeah Reddit got worse the more popular it became.

Remember Reddit summer? When you would immediately notice when all the kids were on summer holiday because of the reposts and low effort posts?

Today I don't see a Reddit summer. It's popularity remains stable throughout the seasons and it's more like a permanent summer then the opposite.
