Keith grabbed Lawrence's hand and Lawrence pulled away which made it look like he tapped just a shit situation but why the fuck is Keith checking if he went out if his arm is literally in the air

Because his arm looked like it could have been stuck in a position where he couldn't actually tap, and his other arm was wrapped up. Sometimes if you're out your arms do strange things, for example Miesha Tate finishing Holly Holm.

It's possible to be going out and your arm is out and stiff.
