Not sure if this is allowed but MT seems to be one of the more influential streamers for the game and I find his takes to be pretty accurate.

Giving alac/quick on guardian is vastly different than giving it on elementalist, ranger, scourge, etc. I wouldn't say the classes feel less distinct because of it and I'm personally glad that each class can fulfill the required roles if needed, I wasn't a big fan of being stuck with few select classes whenever the party needs a boon support.

I do agree it's a shame to lose unique builds like scourge rezzer or boonstrip, wish we had more space in the traitlines for it but that should be a problem solved separately from improving the boon support systems.
