Surely he’s no more likely to appeal to under 18s than other prominent football personalities who feature in betting adverts like Jeff Stelling, Micah Richards, Jamie Carragher, and Peter Crouch?

It’s part of the reason why other betting companies don’t use sportspeople to promote sports betting.
