There's a guy that lives next to me that's gonna retire at 50 because of his frugality lol. He owns two cars and a house- One car was inherited from his father. He works as some sort of banker and has the cash to live in a much nicer area, but lives in a 180k dollar house in a low CoL area and will be rewarded for it lol

I'm not sure if it's the case here but all the stories I've read about people who retire early seem to have a "boring" life style to me.

I love the house we bought, I love going on vacations, buying toys, etc. Sure, I'll have to work until I'm 65 but I think it's important to not save EVERY dime and treat yourself. I don't know when I'll die so I want to have fun while I can.
