I don’t like PeePee but he’s not an idiot. Only idiots think the APP is a good idea.

APP and QPP are both not good ideas financially, but both are attempts at independence from the Federal government. However, Quebec has a much stronger case for that than Alberta.

Besides that, QPP's case is better because:

  1. Quebec is a much bigger percentage of the Canadian population, so it has the benefit of scale.

  2. QPP was created at the same time as CPP, so there was never any debate about initial transfers.
