There's a "country's leader" missing in the title for people like me not knowing who she is.

A coup in a country where facebook helped to incite genocide this is not surprising me.

She is partially responsible for the genocide last I checked so I don't have much sympathi tbh

Yes, but it also has to be said that the atrocities committed against the Rohingya are very much supported by the majority of the population, so any democratically elected leader would have difficulties opposing that.
