how do you like pop? planning on re-ricing in a couple of months and probably gonna go for something less time-intensive like pop or elementary :)

Recent Pop design changes to Gnome made me switch away. I used to love it.

Kind of same, I really like the stock GNOME workflow, but also I really love the Pop Shell and its launcher, been considering switching to fedora for a while now to try and get the best of both worlds, but Pop is just perfectly comfy out of the box for me.

Amusingly, I'm currently using Fedora.

Were polar oppasates lol. Cosmic is what made me switch, along with the pop shop and good out of the box support. I love cosmic, and I don't think I'll ever be able to go back to Gnome.

Luckily Linux has so much variety that it can accommodate us both! I do miss window tiling though. I might try to add it to my current install.

Pop is great. Its like all of the good of Ubuntu with none of the bad. No snaps, the graphical app store supports flatpak, Cosmic is godly and may be my new favorite desktop environment, and all my drivers for gaming are pre-installed.
