My son has 100% all those games laughed at me when I died on the first boss. He thinks he good, but he can't 100% Maro on the Nintendo.

We didn't have save points either.

Spoiler: if you press him to 100% Mario, he will make it look effortless and destroy the last few flimsy lies with which you comfort yourself. I wouldn't press the issue. Just accept your inevitable fade into elderly obscurity. Possibly speaking from experience.
