You're right, but you're missing half the picture. Yeah, half the people on a sub like this are living under oppression from large religions and have misguidedly projected the role of oppressor onto pagans, wiccans, and other religious minorities. But the other half are attracted to communities like this because they want to feel special. They want to be enlightened and to laugh at their perceived lessers who have not attained the truths of reason. Most of those guys are straight white teenage boys with no legitimate authorities to rail against. If they had any sense of proportion they'd rail against capitalism, but internet brainrot has convinced them that theism (as opposed to doctrine) is a legitimate problem.
