How do I add a mod to a community? Do mods need to be from the same instance as the community? (lemmy.world)

I think admins need to be from the same instance? I could be wrong. But I know moderators don't need to be from the same insurance.

While that's true, I just don't want any admins accidentally click on the wrong button when they try to appoint a mod on their own instance. Just correcting the wording, here.
