$5/mo to them plus running a (small) instance mostly on my own dime!

Community funding is the only way to fight commercialization of the fediverse!

@bdonvr @Zoidsberg I think here it works very similar to NGOs funding and so on. Foundations, grants, donations and so on. But grants are generally for new projects, not for operational costs... I wonder if there is something to take inspiration from in the not-for-profit world.
