I mean it's actually good they prosecuted him, shows that they will go after people who commit crimes regardless of politics. This hurts the conservative narrative.

But will they realize it hurts their arguments or will they complain not enough or something.

I believe in accountability and consequences for everyone but not everyone does. For them it’s more a tool for manipulation than a rule to follow.
