I almost thought this was a joke at first, but it looks like it's legit? Anyhow, the fact that you need a spreadsheet is one of the reasons I never got into EVE. I don't want a game that's a second job. Doesn't help that most of the office jobs I ever had required me to constantly make and use spreadsheets.
Tbh unless you're trading or something you don't really need a spreadsheet. There's nothing stopping you from just logging on and explode some spaceships.
Then again it's a subscription based MMO so it's designed to be a time sink/second job but that's not unique to EVE.
I've played a couple of years and I had a good time and never touched a spreadsheet.
I swear this was something they announced as an April Fool's joke like a decade ago, but can't readily find any articles.
