Tonights game pits the 1-7 Panthers against the 2-7 Bears. I for one am incredibly excited because I believe TNF is about watching bad football.

My favorite TNF game of all time was the WK 14 2013 game pitting an awful Texans squad against my own awful Jaguars. Jaguars would go on to win an incredibly ugly and penalty filled (22 of them) 27-20 with Matt Schaub, Case Keenum, Chad Henne, and MJD putting on a show for a national audience that probably went to bad that night with the same feeling as you would have after going minor league hockey game.

What are some other wonderfully awful TNF Matchups that we can remember?

The Smurfs vs. UPS drivers game in 2015 between the 2-7 Titans and the 3-6 Jaguars. It was an ugly game and the Titans lost, but those color rush uniforms were just comical to look at.

They looked a little better in person than on TV.

For years I could only go to the Thursday night game, and it was fun because we often won.

They look like the VGK uniforms. I hate it. Gold is an accent color, not a main color!

I agree with you. Those are not even that bad. The jaguars on the other hand… holy shit. Those are nearly as bad as the trash bag mavs uniforms

Half the kitchens and bathtubs in 1963 were that exact shade of yellow for some reason

This is the game I think of when I think of Thursday night football. Awful uniforms, awful teams and awful football.
