On the one hand I fully believe the NFL is turning a blind eye to him using HGH or something similar to accelerate his recovery because the story would sell (elite HOF QB playing in biggest market overcomes odds, the books/movies write themselves)

On the other, I also think Rodgers is an attention whore who would absolutely be acting this way even if a return was completely and utterly impossible.

I'm sure you'll get or already have plenty of replies about how actually Rodgers isn't an attention whore, and the media just follows him around.
