They're both wrong. It's a right now problem AND a future problem.
That's true, but they still think it's a future problem.
It's not a "right now" problem for anyone with a lifetime of savings to insulate them.
It is. Increased extreme weather affects everyone. Granted, wealthy people are less catastrophically affected, but they're still not unaffected.
Yeah but the old guy will die of old age before it gets bad enough to actually affect him, so he doesn't care
