Most people aren't even thinking of moving to reddit alternatives. Users have a lot of power in this situation. Just move your community to Lemmy or Kbin. It's not that hard.

this bug is so incredibly frustrating to me. i'm sticking around but it does render the site completely unusable. i'm surprised it isn't a higher priority right now since i feel like it's likely that it is preventing a way higher adoption rate. i've been trying to use lemmy exclusively but i get so frustrated with my feed getting flooded that i give up trying and go back to reddit.
