I really wish I would have seen this before Midsomar, because this is basically the original blueprint. I can't believe how heavily that borrowed from this, even down to the psychedelics. I was fooled into praising its originality.

Would have been great to see this in the theater in '73 when it came out just to see the audience's reaction. A very twisting and winding road of a film that genuinely surprised me at the end when the mystery finally unfolds.

Oh a fantastic movie! Maybe not the scariest of all horrors, but such a vibe if you are from the area as well! The story and music go together so well too!
