I don't know. A meme about "Chinese communists" crushing American leftists in addition liberals and racists is sus. It implies that their ideology is clearly stronger, while also implying that American leftists don't understand their own situation better than foreigners. The idea that American leftists would fall apart in response to a Chinese perspective is strange when we hear plenty from foreign leftists about how our county looks from outside. I would love to hear more of that perspective, but I don't think it would change things that much for any of those groups.
I don't think the interpretation of it being pro tankie should be that surprising if you think about it critically.
It's funny, as I interpreted the meme as the internet a dumpster fire of arguing and adding more gas to the fire. But I mean like I said it was innocent chuckle I thought I'd share.
