No way! This is still my favorite Mario RPG i cant believe they're finally doing something with the series! They've always been so reluctant to even acknowledge its existence since it got released

I believe this all boiled down to issues with ownership (SquareEnix / Nintendo). Seems they've worked something out, though!

Yeah it was a big and welcome surprise here! Had a running joke that I wasn't going to live to see anything Super Mario RPG in my lifetime, I guess I did live to see the day!
