So I grew up in the bay area and I watched ALL three Raider Suoerbowl victoies in real time (live) on a 13 inch Sony TV

I also watched Montana and Young kick ass in SF for decades..and it was great football.

I love the Raiders...and all of our Raider Nation 4 ever

Here's my point.

The vast majority of fans, of eifher team, that I meet, will ruthlessly talk shit about the other team

WHY ?

AFC/NFC

They have ONLY faced each other 15 times and have Never played in a Superbowl matchup

Battle of the bay. Easy to market. 2 teams within a few miles, easy to create a competitive feud without much effort. I.e. who did it better from the bay area? The Golden Nineres or the Pirating Raiders.
