Can you explain 'live service ' to a non-gamer? And what is DRM? I scroll all and keep seeing these terms with no explanation. I'd just like to understand the conversation that I'm obviously late to.

Live Service Games are games that have continued content additions over time after release, generally in small, single item packages (like a skin for a gun, a hat for your character, or a new character entirely) they sell for at a premium. They also tend to use FOMO by having these items only available for a brief window of time.

DRM stands for Digital Rights Management; it's a form of copy-protection to prevent piracy. One in particular you might see while scrolling is Denovu, which is known to hinder more legitimate users than actual pirates.
