I'm just incensed that the world at large couldn't get a handle on this stupid virus within 6 months. It's really turned me further inward, further into a cynic.

Yeah, the fact that vast majority of countries decided to run the pandemic run wild is just depressing. And as China clearly shows, it is absolutely possible to control this pandemic if there is a will to do it.
