I use a powerline adaptor because im far away from my router but i have noticed that i only get 60 mbps while the networking service promised 250 mbps. After reconnecting the powerline adaptor it instantly goes to the promised speed but after around 10 minutes it drops back down, this cannot be caused by other devices or a problem with the eithernet cable i use. How can i keep it to stay at 250 mbps?

It may drop when something ugly turns on, like your refrigerator's compressor or your furnace's blower or your heat pump, or maybe even something at your neighbor's house that is fed from the same transformer. You can't really fix that.
