At the time you're asking about, there wasn't a separate PL yet. Let's say that the PL has agreed to give up 50% of the money in the breakaway. Knowing the EFL, they'd be at the table today asking for more money.

Yes, clubs have gone through changes in fortune over time. Do you think that the PL should be giving 50% of the money away to the EFL or something?
