Hi,

Looking for advice - I have internet through optimum, they came and installed the Ubee UBC 1322 router/modem combo. I live in a condo in the mountains - 2 levels, 1500sqft. Router is connected on first level, but my Xbox is on the bottom level essentially opposite the router. The internet speed on the entire bottom level of the condo is absolutely horrible, can’t play any games without lagging badly. Unfortunately my condo only has an internet hookup on the first level.

I previously had separate modem and router units & bought an eero mesh wifi system that worked incredibly great. However, since my UBC 1322 is a modem/router combo, I don’t think an eero system will work.

So, can some tell me if a specific eero model will work with this router/modem combo, or if a different mesh wifi system exists that will get the job done? Or would I have to replace the 1322 with a new router and separate modem?

Cannot seem to find a single post where a mesh wifi system is being utilized with a modem/router combo, more specifically, the UBC 1322.

Thanks
