Can I somehow use a telephone port for ethernet? (alien.top)

Hello,

So in my room there is, unfortunately, no ethernet port, only a telephone port. However, I want to move my pc into my room. So, is there a way? Maybe a telephone-to-ethernet adapter? I have no clue with these things, any and all help is appreciated.

p.s. Will the internet speed be lower?

You need 4 pair and you also need to know where the other end of the connection is. If it goes straight outside to a telephone demark, it doesn't do you a lot of good. If it goes to a patch panel somewhere else in the house then it can probably be repurposed.
