Darebin Library has stopped using Libby and just supports BorrowBox now. Kobo's can't run BorrowBox - this was the whole reason I bought a Kobo for my kid - boo Darebin - booooooooooooooooooooooo

You can get a library membership from basically any other library in Victoria so try the others :D I think Merri-bek offers Libby. Sign up to their libraries here: https://www.merri-bek.vic.gov.au/exploring-merri-bek/libraries/join-the-library/

calibre library management software lets me upload to my kobo. libgen finds me the books to upload.

Yeah, I do that with my Kindle. But my kid is just wanting to borrow a library book you know.
