I just went from a 3770k with a vega 64 to a 7800x3d with 7900xtx. Pretty big jump!

I still have a i7 3770 from 2012 and a GTX 1080. What does it feel like now to upgrade?

Running Cyberpunk with Ray tracing on high settings was pretty neat. I could only get medium at best before. The 3770 is still pretty solid for a medium teir hpu even after a decade. But will bottleneck pretty much most cards over the 1080.

I think that's my experience as well playing modern games as well. Seems CPU is a bottle neck. Hogwarts Legacy gets 25-40 frames no matter if I put the graphics on high or medium, BG3 is similar. I think the CPU is holding it back
