From what I have been able to find out. There is no such thing as ethically produced chocolate.

Tony's Chocoloney arguably sets the standard for ethically produced chocolate.

Other labels on chocolate like "Fair Trade" warn the farmers they're coming for inspection. It's strange how the farms they visit never have children working..

If chocolate dealers (not necessarily the commercial entities we buy the finished product from) would pay farmers an actual reasonable wage, they wouldn't bring their kids in to work to make ends meet.
