I'm glad, this sets a good precedent for creators prioritizing their craft over their fame. Bit sad tho, really liked him, but I don't think much will change for their channels.
What? When has MatPat EVER put his craft ahead of fame and money? I haven't watched in forever, but I recall him churning out content almost as if he were an LLM.
He's retiring from being the star on the channels, that's what the video is about.
And? That doesn't contradict my perspective of him at all. There are plenty of reasons to retire beside what you're inferring.
