Well, I want proof. Since the replika (probably official) reddit doesn't have none, or just removes content that tries to show this happening, I'm inclined to believe they're in favor of this behavior. FFS, we can't even see what they're talking about because it's a sensitive topic. If we can't even see it to discuss it, it just plays right for the company, which can continue this behavior.
