Apparently you can now link to any lemmy communities by simply typing in "/c/[email protected]". It'll be converted into a link. (yiffit.net)

Try it out. Save your comment even if it doesn't show up as a link. It will be converted into a link upon saving the comment.

For example /c/[email protected]

That's a nice QoL update. Do you know what happens if you link to an instance/community that is not federated with current instance yet? Will it start federating after posting, will the link be broken (404) or will it not create link?

Since update v.0.18 it will search for the remote community in a transparent way and have it show up. That is amazing <3
