It is also a misunderstanding of what census decision making aims to achieve. You can argue that it wasn't the right tool under the circumstances of the Occupy Wallstreet protests, but given that such protests are not a way to achieve meaningful changes in society anyways, one can argue that it at least inspired the participants to start thinking about other forms of organizing society.
