also, my approach/suggestion is "capitalism not so bad"

i dont think this is that controversial either. it can be comfortable/have reins, like the meme exemplifies with north european countries.

my problem is that it depends entirely on the generosity of the burgeoise, and inevitably goes runaway and soon we have to bomb other countries/enslave people to keep the rich getting richer. infinite growth and stuff is hard to sustain.

How about this then:

Norway only has great social welfare programs because it sells so much oil from the North Sea. We’re subsidizing their better lives and EV greenwashing with CO2.
