This asbestos mulch situation is pretty awful. I suspect it’s no accident to have that many affected sites/batches of mulch. Someone has been dumping asbestos into the mulch process to avoid paying the proper fees to dispose of it? I hope it’s investigated thoroughly. Sadly the environmental laws in aus are weak and poorly enforced.

What's needed is testing for stuff going INTO the mulching process. Which won't happen cos expensive.
