What does it do?
it lets you do cool stuff with audio in your game.
It being open source means you don't have to build entire separate games for non-PC platforms (since you can bring the Valve tool to other consoles).
More like filters and echoes and stuff, I guess. There was something about pathing, which made me imagine an engine that calculates sound paths, like how it would sound bouncing around corners or through walls or underwater
