lemmy.ml is down? No problem! lemmygrad.ml is still online! In the Fediverse, the "single point of failure" is the internet itself.

Standardizing on fedi capabilities is something that needs to happen at the SocialHub community, by writing and agreeing on a Fediverse Enhancement Proposal (FEP) for it. SocialHub is the place for technologists who build the fediverse. Unfortunately there's little focus on evolving the protocols and open standards, as most federated app devs spend their time in their own projects. I encourage anyone interested in fedi building to join as SocialHub member.
