What do people think happens during wars? Since time immemorial, women and children have always suffered from exploitation, rape, murder, starvation, and use as cannon fodder. Look in any "holy" books where women and young girls are constantly treated as spoils of war. This suffering needs to be remembered the next time people hear a politician banging the drums of war and wagging the dog.
