How many books have you bought that are $70?
You can get a hard cover set of Lord of the Rings (three books) for less money.
Also the Bible is public domain, so yeah, $70 is expensive. If you contacted religious groups you could get a Bible for free.
plenty of limited edition and/or heirloom type books can sell for well above $60 (think of the last time you tried to buy a textbook). there are bibles on amazon that are selling for $60+ right now.
(in case there was any confusion im not defending this loser don’t worry. just honestly curious why we haven’t seen this behavior before.)
