There's a lot to chew on in that post and its linked 'how to hack'. I think there is some disagreement in terms of how much time newbies should spend drafting a proper question, but in more formal groups much of it seems to hold true.
It also reminds me of this recent piece: Done Answering Questions Stack Overflow(https://games.greggman.com/game/done-with-stackoverflow/) in which the author describes some of the pain in answering questions (along with other tasty morsels about social media addiction)
