Good point, unfortunately though I was more talking about friends and family. If friends are shitty about who or what you are then they're not friends and you need to go and find friends. Family are just forced default friends that happen to share DNA. If they're shitty, then they too aren't your friends, or family. Find. Anew family

Yes, but keep in mind that leaving your childhood family before you're established in your career is likely to result in homelessness. If they're horrible, you should probably still do it, but what I'm saying is, it matters what they think.
