Issue with Federation - Appointing as a Moderator (lemmy.studio)

I appointed myself as a moderator of my community [email protected] and it shows on the page on Mander but not on lemmy.studio, and I am not able to moderate the community from my lemmy.studio account.

Huh, I see you as a mod there from lemmy.studio.

It appears to be working now. I think it is similar to how it took a few days for the community to become federated at all (I could not access it from lemmy.studio for a little while after I created it).

That would make sense. Out of curiosity, were you able to make a community on a federated instance? I’ve been considering making communities that would be a little out of scope of music so I was considering trying to do that.

I had to create an account on Mander (that is what the other CoffeeDev moderator is) to create the community.

You can always just create an account to create the community and appoint yourself as a moderator.
