It seems like the whole device was kind of pointless to begin with since its still just running Spotify off your phone. I guess it did it's real job of separating people from their money without really giving them anything though

It was a good substitute for cars missing android-auto and CarPlay.

And I think some people used it as a low-distraction music remote for their desk.
